In the first months of 2008 the Veneto Region has prepared the second survey on broadband  Internet access in Veneto.
Based on information supplied by the main telecom providers in Veneto it appears that 343 Municipalities have full broadband Internet access while 34 Municipalities have no coverage whatsoever.
The overall population without high-speed Internet access is estimated at 313,000 (compared to 730,700 in 2007).
