Scope

Funded in the first quarter of 2008 the Veneto Broadband Bureau is active in four major sectors: 

• Broadband Study Group
  The Study Group produces reports on broadband market development in Veneto both on the supply side (which providers are active, what services are available, the level of prices, coverage) and on the demand side (citizens, businesses, Government).

• Technical and administrative advice
  Specifically addressed to the Regional offices in charge of the administrative processes inherent in broadband extension projects.
  
  
• Support to Local Authorities
  The Bureau cooperates with Local Authorities to update information on: broadband coverage in Veneto; service providers; most requested types of service by citizens, businesses, local government.
  
  
• Consistency and integration with the Public Administration Network
  The Bureau sees and checks that all new infrastructures that are going to be created in Veneto with Regional funding comply with standards on service levels and security established nationally for the Public Administration Network.
